Legato Circle
The Legato Circle
Legato
le·ga·to (liˈgä tō’) adj./adv. (Italian)
Smooth and flowing, without breaks between notes.
Like a legato musical line, planned gifts ensure the smooth transfer of musical values from generation to generation. Membership in the Legato Circle is extended to those who notify us of a bequest or other planned gift intention. Commitments of all sizes are welcomed and deeply appreciated.
Legato Circle members invest in the future of the BSO, making it possible for music to inspire, educate, and connect our community well into the years ahead.

The Impact of Your Giving

$10,000
could enroll 3 students in OrchKids
With this contribution, you can transform the lives of three Baltimore youth with community-based, high-quality music instruction, and programming that teach skills and open doors of opportunity in remarkable ways for one year.

$50,000
could sponsor a guest artist
A gift of this size could allow us to welcome one of the world's finest musicians to Baltimore, to a week-long residency – helping us to raise the bar for creativity, and bringing a fresh perspective to our stage through rehearsals, performances and even masters classes with students.

$500,000
could endow a chair in the orchestra
A gift at this level creates long-term stability for a musician's chair while a signifying a mutual love for music and the BSO. The funds are invested, and will grow with the BSO's Endowment while providing steady income to support a musician's salary.
